Tamarod's founder speaks on state TV

The founder of the anti-Morsi "Tamarod" movement has delivered a speech on Egyptian state television.

Mahmoud Badr called for popular committees to protect churches and government buildings and offices. He was accompanied by another Tamarod official while he spoke. This is the first time that state television has allowed anyone other than government officials to deliver a speech like this on air. Such permission was not given to the January 25 Revolutionaries.
