65 children among those killed by army and police in Cairo

February 8, 2014 at 1:38 am

A spokesman for the Salafist Front has claimed that at least 65 children are among those killed by Egyptian security forces in Cairo today.

Hisham Kamal said that the massacres have aroused widespread outrage among ordinary Egyptians who have taken to the streets all over the country. He asserted that the violence meted out by soldiers and police against the anti-coup protesters in Rabba Al-Adawiyya and Al-Nahda Squares “is the final nail in the coffin of the military coup”.

Witnesses said that an army vehicle ran over Ahmed Rajab in Shubra in Al-Boheera governorate as state violence spread beyond the main protest squares in the capital.
