Al-Jazeera correspondent claims ambulances bringing weapons into square to frame protestors

February 8, 2014 at 1:57 am

Mohamed Maher Aqel, an Al-Jazeera correspondent in Cairo, has said that ambulances transporting the martyrs and the injured have exploited the absence of organisation committees at the entrances and exits and have brought weapons into al-Adawiya square. He claims that they are bringing in the weapons in order to frame the protesters and accuse them of using weapons against the police and army.

Aqel said that a suspicious ambulance stands outside one of the squares entrances refusing to transport the injured and insists on entering the square with the weapons.
