Syrian Security Forces torture a Palestinian to death in prison

The Working Group for the Palestinians in Syria reported on Saturday that a Palestinian employee of the Palestine Embassy in Damascus has been tortured to death in prison. The group said through its Facebook page that, Ismail Hassan Abboud, a resident of the Yarmouk refugee camp was tortured to death while in custody of the Syrian Security Forces. Abboud was an employee of the Palestinian Embassy in Damascus”.


According to the Group “Abboud was arrested a year and a half ago and then released only to be arrested again almost six months ago.”

The Group did not provide any additional information on the case.
