Fatah Central Committee describes Dahlan as 'conspirator'

February 11, 2014 at 10:59 am

Fatah’s Central Committee has said that former member Mohammed Dahlan’s false accusations against Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas prove that he is a conspirator.

In a statement published by Wafa News Agency, the The Central Committee asserted that: “Dahlan is the last person entitled to discuss our national issues, especially considering that Fatah and its Central Committee have already expelled him.”

According to the Committee, “Dahlan’s attacks against Abbas come at the same time as Israel’s former Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman is waging similar attack against the PA, which proves that Dahlan is conspiring against the Palestinian people and their national leadership. While Lieberman is calling to get rid of Abbas, Dahlan backs him up with a new wave of lies.”

The Committee continued: “Dahlan does not have the right to discuss our national issues when investigations have proven that he is directly responsibility for the assassination of many Fatah members in the Gaza Strip, using his post to accumulate millions of dollars and conspiring with external elements to thwart the establishment of a Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.”

The Committee concluded by saying that it reserves the right to legally pursue Dahlan.
