Thousands of Palestinian youths took to the streets on Friday protesting against continued Israeli aggression against Jerusalem and al-Aqsa mosque.

The coalition of Palestinian youths, a newly founded youth movement, called on youths to demonstrate in support of al-Aqsa mosque and the Palestinian residents in the occupied city of Jerusalem.

Most Palestinian cities and villages in the Gaza Strip and the occupied West Bank took part in these protests after the Friday prayer.

Clashes erupted between protesters and the Israeli forces in several places. Palestinian medical sources said that four protesters were injured in Jerusalem and had sustained moderate wounds.

Protesters in the Gaza Strip headed to Beit Hanoun crossing where Israeli forces fired tear gas at them; there were no reports of any causalities.

The coalition of Palestinian youths said that today’s demonstrations are a message to the Israeli occupation that Palestinians would not give in to Israeli threats and aggression against their holy places and land.
