Qatar’s High Education Committee has prepared a plan to transfer Qatari students studying at Egyptian universities to Jordanian or Moroccan universities if the political instability continues in Egypt.

The plan includes arranging aids to thousands of students studying in Egypt and guarantees transferring them to alternative universities without losing their BA or masters studies.

Data shows that the plan also includes efforts to search for new universities to be approved by the Qatari Education Committee in place of sending future students to Egypt.

A senior source revealed to Qatari newspaper Al-Shorouk that the Minister of Education and High Education, Mohamed Al-Hamadi, is concerned with the issue of Qatari students studying in Egypt.

According to Qatari sources, the number of Qatari students studying in Egypt is about 3,000, including BA and masters students.
