Israel releases 26 Palestinian prisoners but detains 15 others

After releasing 26 Palestinian prisoners as part of the agreement to return to negotiations, the Israeli occupation forces have detained 15 others from cities across the West Bank.


Palestinian sources said that Israeli forces stormed several homes in Ramallah and detained Haytham Redwan, Waheeb Saad, Osama al-Barghouti, Solaiman Hamayel, Mohamed Yosouf and Mohamed Hamza. All of the young men are students at Beirzeit University. Three citizens were detained at their homes in Al-Khader and Battir. Witnesses said that the properties were damaged in the process. Other Palestinians were picked up in Aworta in the south of Nablus governorate.
