To mark World Heritage Day, which falls on 18th April each year, the Islamic University in Gaza has organised a heritage exhibition on the Palestinian Cause, which will last for four days.

Discourse on Palestinian heritage is critical to the Conflict with the Israeli Occupation. Palestinians possess the documentary evidence that prove their right to ownership of the lands and dwellings they were driven from by the occupation in 1948. The exhibition displays historic artefacts that prove ancient Palestinian ancestry in the land in the form of the Canaanites.

This exhibition serves as a reminder to Palestinians of the new generation about their Cause, history, and land. It also draws world attention to the blatant 64 year-long violation which Palestinians continue to suffer under.
