A Palestinian farmer was injured in an Israeli drone attack in Gaza on Wednesday. The man was working on his land to the east of Al-Burij refugee camp in the middle of the Gaza Strip. Ambulances and paramedics rushed to the scene to offer first aid.
A spokesman for the Ministry of Health in Gaza, Ashraf al-Qedra, described the farmer’s wounds as “moderate to critical”.
In the occupied West Bank, Israeli troops have continued to use force to arrest civilians in sweeps around the region. In Jerusalem, four men were detained on Wednesday evening; another seven were arrested in other cities on Thursday morning for alleged “security reasons”.
Meanwhile, Israeli undercover agents attacked a group of Palestinians in Silwan who were celebrating the release of Mohammed Odeh from Israeli prison. Witnesses said that the Israelis fired rubber bullets, injuring four people. Three others were detained.
