A group of clowns from Britain have been on a tour of the Gaza Strip over the last few days in an effort to paint smiles on the faces of the many Palestinian children in the region that have lived under siege for more than four years now.
The clowns say that the purpose of their visit is to bring fun and light hearted entertainment to children that have been exposed to extended psychological warfare.
They have been performing for Gaza’s children at different locations up and down the sector, including at schools, institutions and associations. Their efforts have been warmly welcomed; particularly by the children themselves who’s happiness and appreciation tell a story of their own.
The clowns called on more international actors to intervene to help resolve the crisis facing Gaza.
