Evictions postponed "until after US Independence Day"

February 20, 2014 at 3:29 pm

The eviction of forty Palestinians from their homes in Jerusalem by Zionist extremists has been postponed because the day planned for the evictions was 4th July, US Independence Day. According to Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth, Knesset members called on the extremists to postpone the evictions until Benjamin Netanyahu ends his current visit to the US so that the Prime Minister is not embarrassed by the revelations. Tensions are still running high between Washington and Tel Aviv. The right-wing group planning to carry out the evictions has, claims the newspaper, agreed to a postponement but has said that it still intends to go ahead at a later date.
