Israel exploits international concern over regional unrest to intensify aggression against Gaza

The Palestinian government in Gaza has warned that Israel is exploiting the current international concern over unrest in the Middle East and North Africa to intensify aggression against the Gaza Strip.

On Saturday (03.03), Israeli warplanes raided several different areas of Gaza, causing considerable damage to property but no loss of life.

The Ministry of Interior Affairs and the National Security in Gaza has condemned these Israeli raids, highlighting that the attack “came in the wake of continued Israeli actions to judaise Jerusalem and build settlements in the West Bank.”

The Ministry also stated in a press release that Israel’s aggression “won’t weaken the Palestinian people’s resolve. To the contrary, it will kindle more resilience in the face of Israeli aggression.”
