Israeli aircraft destroys roadside poster of Shaikh Ahmed Yassin and Ismail Haniyeh

An Israeli reconnaissance plane has destroyed a roadside poster depicting Shaikh Ahmed Yassin, the founder of the Islamic Resistance Movement, and current Gaza Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh. The poster was alongside a coastal road in the Shaikh Aiglein district of Gaza. Local residents said that the Israeli aircraft clearly targeted the poster deliberately, destroying it completely.

A commentator said that such destructive vandalism without any real military objective is typical of the Israelis. “Such an attack is characteristic of the methods used by the so-called Israel Defence Forces to terrorise the civilian population of Gaza,” he added.
