Jewish settler deliberately runs over and seriously injures Palestinian boy

On Sunday evening, 18th July, a Jewish settler intentionally ran over a Palestinian boy in the city of Hebron, in the south of the Occupied West Bank, before fleeing the scene. The child was left in a critical condition.

Eyewitnesses to the incident have reported that the victim, identified as twelve year old Abdullah al-Muhtaseb, was seriously injured after he was run over by a settler on a motorcycle. Following the incident, Abdullah was transferred to the local hospital for medical treatment.

The incident took place near the Ibrahimi Mosque in the occupied city of Hebron. Early reports said that the boy had been killed. Every year, Jewish settlers bear responsibility for the wounding and killing of many Palestinians on bypass roads due, it is alleged, to their lack of respect for Palestinian lives.
