The Chief of the Hamas Political Bureau, Khaled Meshaal, has told the President of Yemen about the latest developments in Palestine. Speaking during a phone call to greet Ali Abdullah Saleh on the festival of Eid ul Adha, Mr. Meshaal mentioned specifically the latest efforts to reconcile with Fatah.
The details of the discussion were released by the official Yemeni news agency, which added that President Saleh reiterated his country's support for the Palestinian people, including their right to an independent state with Jerusalem as its capital.
