Miles of Smiles Convoy 7 reaches Gaza

Yesterday evening, the Miles of Smiles Convoy 7 consisting of 113 activists from various European countries successfully reached the Gaza Strip. The convoy’s entry into the beleaguered sector was coordinated by Egypt;  it brought more than 10 ambulances alongside a number of other vehicles.

A high-levelled delegation from the Algerian Peace Society Movement and a number of Arab activists from Bahrain also reached the Gaza Strip at the same time.

The delegation attended the Western mosque in Gaza City for Friday prayers where the Prime Minister, Ismail Haniyeh, welcomed the guests and thanked them for their presence and continued solidarity with the Palestinian people.
