Miles of Smiles Convoy receives rapturous welcome in Gaza

The Miles of Smiles Convoy 3, which is made up of 50 Palestinian solidarity activists from several different European countries, has reached the Gaza Strip. The convoy was met by cheers, appreciation and thanks from the Palestinian people who welcome all those who stand in solidarity with them and offer assistance in breaking the blockade on the Gaza Strip.

The convoy included 15 disabled ambulances as well as other essentials and much needed medicines and supplies, particularly by Gaza’s children.

The delegation of solidarity activists arrived at the Quds International Hotel in Gaza City and it is expected that they will embark on an excursion around the sector to get an insight into the general conditions and the effects of both the siege and the war.
