New exhibition opens for students in Gaza City

A new vocational and scientific exhibition for students was unveiled on Saturday by the Dean of Student Activities and Student Affairs at the Islamic University in Gaza City.

The opening ceremony was attended by the chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Islamic University, Dr Jamal Khodary MP and the Program Manager of Education of the UN Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA), Mahmoud Himdiat.

The exhibition aims to foster relations between school and university students with those involved in business and industry sectors, including teaching and the Arts within the Gaza Strip. The exhibition involves a number of universities and colleges, educational institutions in the region, all part of the Faculty of Education at the University, and includes a number of high profile projects, teaching aids, paintings, photographs and handicrafts. Some of these projects were initiated by the students themselves. The exhibition gave an opportunity to the students to meet specialists in their fields of interest, including business, arts and the sciences.
