Protests in the Occupied West Bank continue

The March 15th Group of protesters has continued its demonstrations and sit-ins in major urban centres of the West Bank for the fifth consecutive day demanding an end to internal Palestinian division.

According to sources among the protesters, a number of young participants have been on hunger strike since the first day sit-ins began. Sources also confirm that strikes are set to continue despite initiatives to end the division that have been launched by Presidents Mahmoud Abbas in the West Bank and Ismail Hanniyeh in Gaza.

Slogans raised by the young 15th of March protesters call for an end to internal Palestinian division and urge for national unity and a unification of the internal ranks.
