A Quds Press International News Agency correspondent, Salim Tayeh, was arrested by the preventive security forces of the Palestinian Authority in the West Bank on Sunday.
Tayeh’s wife told Quds Press that a preventive security force raided their home in Tulkarem on Sunday night (3/10) and arrested her husband, without giving any details about the reason for his detention.
She added that the security forces searched their house, and confiscated two computers and many documents, especially papers related to her husband’s work.
She expressed her surprise over the arrest of her husband by saying that her husband is a professional journalist and had never before been approached the authorities in any way. She is demanding his immediate release.
