Major NSA intelligence facility established in Jerusalem

An Israeli journalist specialising in intelligence affairs has revealed that Tel Aviv has allowed the US National Security Agency (NSA) to establish a large intelligence facility in occupied Jerusalem, according to reports by Israel Radio on Sunday.

Ronen Bergman, a journalist working for Israel's Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper and Channel 10, reported that the facility is equipped with antennas used to receive satellite signals. He also pointed out that the geographic location of Jerusalem enables the facility to receive signals from some of the most important satellites dedicated to communications worldwide. This contributes to enhancing the NSA's abilities in this field.
