Israeli Economics Minister Naftali Bennett has restated his opposition to Palestinian statehood in an interview with the BBC.
Speaking to Stephen Sackur on 'Hardtalk', Bennett affirmed his belief that all of the land between the Mediterranean Sea and the Jordan River belongs to Israel irrevocably. Bennett also suggested that a possible alternative to Palestinian statehood is "Jordanian involvement".
Bennett praised Israeli businesses in West Bank settlements as "the real bridge to peace", and dismissed both the threat of boycott, divestment and sanctions, as well as any comparison with the international isolation eventually experienced by Apartheid South Africa.
