Sabbahi: Al-Sisi should remain Minister of Defence

Field Marshal and Minister of Defence Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi should stay in his ministry position to “protect his status”, Egyptian leftist presidential hopeful Hamdeen Sabbahi said.

In an interview with the pro-coup Al-Tahrir channel on Sunday, Sabbahi said: “Al-Sisi derives his status from the role he played as Minister of Defence. The best way to preserve his status is to remain in his post.”
