Blacklist Al-Jazeera, Egyptian minister says

Al-Jazeera should be listed as an organisation which sponsors terrorism, Egyptian Minister of Religious Affairs Mohammed Mokhtar Jomaa said yesterday.

Jomaa said the TV network should be blacklisted because of its coverage of the ongoing unrest in Egypt.

Jomaa accused Al-Jazeera of contempt of Egyptian Judiciary and referred to a report about Egyptian Judiciary broadcast on Al-Jazeera last Friday. He also accused the network of broadcasting and publishing the activities of a “terrorist” organisation, referring to the Muslim Brotherhood.
