Egypt puts Sabahi under investigation

April 12, 2014 at 2:20 pm

The Public Prosecution Service in east Cairo started probes in to a complaint filed against potential presidential candidate Hamdeen Sabahi.

Anti-coup mass media reported the incident saying: “At last, after a long time of hypocrisy with the military institution and walking on the corpses of martyrs in the squares of Egypt, Hamdeen Sabahi fell in to the hands of the army.”

The complainant said the source of Sabahi’s funds should be investigating and called for revealing the relationship between Sabahi and those who fund him.

“Egyptians put big question marks ahead of all these funds. Are they considered internal funds or political bribery?” the plaintiff said. He called upon the Public Prosecutor Service to confiscate Sabahi’s “doubtful” money.
