Egyptian foreign ministry spokesman Badr Abdel-Atti commended Saudi’s decision to label the Muslim Brotherhood as a “terrorist” group, expecting other Gulf nations to follow suit.

Abdel-Atti said in press statements Saturday: “We commend the Saudi decision, which reflects the scale of coordination and solidarity between our two countries, the corner stone of joint Arab actions.”

“We previously urged member states in the Arab League to commit to the anti-terrorism treaty, and we expect the rest of states to follow suit and uphold their responsibility towards combatting terrorism,” he added.
