Hamas mourns Islamic scholar Muhammad Qutb

Hamas mourned the death of Islamic scholar and author Muhammad Qutb on Friday.

In a press statement, Hamas said: “We convey our sincerest condolences to all the Palestinian people and the Arab and Islamic nations for the death of the cleric, thinker, and scholar Muhammad Qutb, who passed away today morning in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia at the age of 95, which he spent in serving the Islamic call and Islamic thought. Qutb enriched Islamic literature with his invaluable books and writings which left a huge impact on the ideology and education of multiple Muslim generations.”
