Muslim Brotherhood: Al-Sisi presidency would further destabilise Egypt

Muslim Brotherhood leader Ibrahim Mounir said in press statements that Al-Sisi presidency “will neither bring about security nor stability for Egypt.”

On Wednesday, Egyptian media broadcast a televised speech by Minister of Defence and military coup leader Abdel-Fattah Al-Sisi, in which he formally announced his presidency bid. The speech was followed by a meeting for the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces led by the interim President Adly Mansour.
