Saudi activist Madiha Agroush said Saturday that female activists will drive cars as a sign of protest against the government’s banning of women from driving.
The protest comes in parallel with Obama’s visit to Saudi Arabia on Saturday. However, activists insist the timing is not related to Obama’s visit, and has been pre-planned in accordance with a monthly schedule as part of the “driving campaign” started last 26 October.
