The Palestinian Ministry of Culture has held an exhibition in Gaza where elderly women have been able to exhibit their traditional handicrafts. A large number of visitors and the media viewed the exhibits, which also included maps of Palestine showing how the Israeli occupation and Zionist groups have taken more and more Palestinian land since 1948. The ethnic cleansing of Palestinians from their towns and villages was also highlighted.

The exhibition included replicas of the map of Palestine with all its cities, hills, mountains, valleys and rivers with their original Arabic names. These have been replaced by the Israelis with Hebrew names to camouflage their origins and fabricate a Zionist narrative to influence world opinion.

Rallies were also held in Gaza City in front of the offices of international organisations, including the UN.

Some of the pictures showed life in the refugee camps on the beach and in Jabaliya where the people still live in difficult conditions, retaining the memories of their painful displacement and planting the love of the return in the hearts of the younger generations.
