Amnesty International condemns the failure to meet the Syrian refugee needs in Lebanon

Amnesty International accused the international community of ignoring the needs of the Syrian refugees in Lebanon, and warned that the great deficient in international aid will mean that they will be unable to receive proper health care.

Amnesty said in a report issued on Wednesday that the Syrian refugees in Lebanon, in some cases, are forced to return to their country in order to receive the medical treatment they seek as a result of this desperate situation and in light of the hospitals refusal in certain occasions to treat them, including some emergency cases.

The organisation indicated that the Syrian refugees are often turned away by hospitals which denies them entry, even if they were suffering from dangerous health symptoms or require more complicated medical care.
