Sabbahi's campaign claims 'significantly higher votes' than Sisi

Maasoom Rizq, spokesperson of the presidential elections campaign of Hamdeen Sabbahi claimed Monday that Sabbahi obtained higher votes than his sole rival Abdel Fatah Al-Sisi.

Rizq cited exit poll figures from the operations room set up by his campaign. Moreover, he accused “the Mubarak state” of trying to influence the Egyptian street, and of attacking Sabbahi’s campaigners. He called on the Presidential Elections Commission to investigate the allegations.

Amr Badr, director of Sabbahi’s campaign, accused the “Mubarak state” of trying to influence the Egyptian treet. He added that his candidate has a vision for all crises, and expressed confidence of victory.

On the other hand, the general coordinator of the pro-Sisi campaign “Kammel Gemeelak” also claimed victory on the first day.
