Tunisia and Morocco signed 23 agreements on Friday in a number of fields. These included cooperation agreements in the fields of security, development, industry, technology, scientific research, education, health care, religious affairs, tourism, management, environment, railways, petroleum resources, energy, stock market, commerce, agriculture, and banking.
A ceremony was held at the Carthage presidential palace in the Tunisian capital Friday, and was attended by the Tunisian President Moncef Marzouki and Moroccan King Mohamed VI.
The Moroccan king arrived in Tunisia Friday in his first visit since the January 2011 revolution, which toppled the Tunisian long-time dictator Ben Ali.
