Peaceful struggle will continue until freedom is regained, Brotherhood tells Al-Sisi

The Muslim Brotherhood said in a statement on Sunday that the “Egyptian people will carry on their peaceful revolutionary struggle until it regains freedom and dignity.”

The statement came in response to the swearing in ceremony of the ex-army chief and coup leader Abdel Fatah Al-Sisi as president on Sunday.

The group added that the recent death sentences against a number of its leaders and some Islamic preachers “will not terrorise the Egyptian people who offered thousands of martyrs, injured and detainees.”
