Al-Azhar student union condemns abduction of students

Al-Azhar student union condemned Wednesday the abduction of 11 students believed to be held by Egyptian authorities at an undisclosed location.

The union said that the disappeared students may be subjected to systematic torture inside detention cells to forcibly solicit false testimonies from them about crimes they did not commit.

The union stressed that the uprising of students against the coup will continue, and will not be deterred by intimidation and torture.
