June 16, 2014 at 2:26 pm

Four people were injured early this morning in a series of Israeli raids targeting resistance sites and empty land around the Gaza Strip.

Dr Ashraf, spokesperson for the Ministry of Health, said four people had minor and moderate injuries, including a three-year-old girl, after they were struck with shrapnel following the bombing by the occupation forces to the north of the region.

F-16 aircrafts bombed at least three Al-Qassam Brigade’s sites near the towers of Al-Maqousi, west of Gaza city, without any injuries reported.

He clarified that civil defence vehicles rushed to the spot to extinguish the fires started by the bombings.

Ashraf said the site of Abu Jerad, south of the Zeitoun neighbourhood, had been bombing twice.

He explained that the bombing targeted a site to the west of Al-Matahen, southeast of Khan Younis in southern Gaza, and another in the Zeitoun area, east of Gaza.

Meanwhile, security sources reported unusual activity from the military occupation vehicles to the east of Rafah.

Gaza Strip is witnessing intensive Israeli air raids.
