Security expert: Cairo bombings aimed at dispersing people from next uprising

Egyptian security expert Dean Tariq Al-Gawhary accused the interior security forces of being behind yesterday’s bombings in Cairo saying they were orchestrated to distract people from the problems caused by the military coup, and to stir people against the Muslim Brotherhood before the planned uprising on July 3.

During his interview on Masr Al-Layla on Al-Jazeera Mubasher Misr, he added: “Whoever is able bypass metro staff and security personnel could enter it to kill many or injure the majority, but this was a scheme by security to stir people against the Brotherhood who have called for demonstrations on July 3 on the first anniversary of the military coup.”
