Egypt thwarts rocket fire at Israel from Sinai

Egyptian security forces thwarted attempts to fire two rockets at Israel from Sinai, Israeli media reported yesterday.

According to Egyptian security sources, more rockets were found after the area was searched.

Rockets were fired from southern Lebanon into northern Israel yesterday evening, leading the Israeli army to respond with artillery fire aimed at the vicinity of the towns close to the Lebanese border, Anadolu news agency quoted a security source and eye witnesses as saying.
