Palestinian fighters downed two Israeli unmanned drones flying in the skies of the Gaza Strip within the space of only two hours, Al-mesryoon newspaper reported.

According to the newspaper, witnesses told Anadolu news agency that Palestinian fighters downed the first drone using anti-aircraft missiles in the skies of the Al-Nusairat refugee camp in the middle of the Gaza Strip.

Al-Mesryoon reported that this was the second such aircraft to be downed in a span of less than two hours, as Palestinian fighters had earlier announced they also downed a drone in the Western skies of Gaza City.

Last Saturday, Palestinian fighters from Al-Qassam Brigades revealed that they had downed an Israeli drone in the skies of Gaza City.

The Israeli occupation army continues its brutal assault on the Gaza Strip, with most of the Palestinian casualties being civilian, including children, women and the elderly.

The latest statistics, according to the ministry of health in Gaza, show that the number of Palestinian deaths has reached 202, with more than 1,520 wounded, including dozens in critical condition.

The Israeli Ministry of Health announced on Tuesday that it had treated 550 Israelis from panic attacks, and that one Israeli died after receiving serious injuries caused by shrapnel after being targeted by Palestinian fighters near the Beit Hanoun Crossing.
