Abu Marzouk: Hamas, Fatah talks to resume in Cairo

Deputy Chairman of Hamas’s political bureau, Dr Moussa Abu Marzouk said that talks between his movement and al-Fatah movement will resume on Tuesday in Cairo.

The Hamas top official pointed out in a statement that Cairo has agreed to sponsor the meeting.

The Fatah delegation will include: Azzam al-Ahmad, Jibril Rajoub, Sakhr Bseiso, Hussein al-Sheikh and Mahmoud Aloul.

Abu Marzouk pointed out that the meeting will address the outstanding issues between the two parties in applying the dialogue, political partnership and the unity government work, stressing that his movement is more than willing to support the dialogue success.

A few reconciliation files between the two parties are still outstanding as each party accuses the other of non-seriousness in applying the reconciliation.
