A senior Israeli security official arrived in Cairo yesterday on board of a special Israeli plane from Tel Aviv, Palestinian news agency Quds Net reported.
The Israeli official was scheduled to meet senior Egyptian security officials in order to discuss the latest developments in Sinai and the Gaza Strip.
Informed sources in Cairo International Airport said that the Israeli and Egyptian officials were due to discuss Egypt’s war on terrorists in Sinai.
According to a source, the Israeli envoy was also due to discussed the situation in Gaza and the upcoming round of indirect talks between Israelis and the Palestinians aimed at reaching a permanent truce in the Gaza Strip.
