Media personality Moataz Matar has revealed the publication of a famous Greek site which reports on the gains obtained by Greece as a result of the tripartite agreement between Athens, Egypt and Cyprus.

Matar explained that the report said there is a law called the “Law of the Sea” which requires all islands in international waters to have an area of water in order to establish a port; however one Greek island did not have an area for a port except in Egypt or Turkey.

Turkey rejected this proposal while Egypt recently agreed after it ratified to the Law of the Sea.

He added that this project was paved by former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak in 2003, but the actual implementation began during Adly Mansour and late Abdel Fatah Al-Sisi’s leaderships.

Muslim Brotherhood member Khaled Awda tried to address the project after the organisation was voted into power however leaders of the group rejected the matter so vehemently that Awda suffered from depression, Matar said.
