Netanyahu warns against signing deal with Iran

November 24, 2014 at 5:08 pm

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned major countries on Thursday of the dangers of signing what he called a “bad deal” with Iran.

In an interview with ABC, a major American network, Netanyahu said: “It is important that this horrible deal with Iran is not signed.” Netanyahu stressed it would allow Iran to “maintain thousands of centrifuges to make enough uranium to produce a nuclear bomb”.

“Israel is not the only country that feels threatened by Iran’s nuclear capabilities. The whole world is afraid,” said Netanyahu.

Israel is widely believed to have been the sixth country in the world to acquire nuclear weapons and it is not a party to the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT).
