37 burnt bodies in Rabaa in June 2013

Secretary-General of the June 30 fact finding committee Judge Omar Marwan said his committee has documented the presence of 37 burnt bodies; seven of them were completely burnt at the Rabaa Al-Adawiya square, Al-Shrooq news site reported.

Speaking during a press conference, Marwan said that the committee has demonstrated that the bodies were burnt in the Rabaa Al-Adawiya square.

He explained that the committee was unable to investigate the events that occurred between 10pm on June 29 and 7am on June 30 due to the lack of witnesses, and the presence of three parties who fired at each other and therefore it has decide it to leave it to the judiciary; because it has a wider mandate to gather information.
