Israeli forces arrest children in clashes in Jerusalem

The Israeli forces Monday evening arrested a number of children during violent clashes that erupted on the main entrance to the town of Anata, northeast of Jerusalem.

Among the detained children are: Malik Yousef Nimer, Mohamed Wajeh Nimer, Youssef Mahmoud Al-Jamileh, Samer Al-Kiswani, Malik Mahmud Al- Yamani and Mohammed Faraj Alian.

Eyewitnesses reported that the Israeli forces attacked the children and beat them before moving them to army camps.

The violent clashes broke out near the entrance to Anata town on Monday afternoon and intensified in the evening hours during which the Israeli forces used toxic tear gas and rubber bullets while Palestinian youth responded with throwing stones and empty bottles.
