January 14, 2015 at 1:32 pm

Tunisia announced yesterday that an official delegation will visit Libya to discuss the fate of two Tunisian journalists who have been missing since September after the Libyan branch of the Islamic State (ISIS) group claimed to have executed them.

Investigative journalist and blogger Sufian El-Shawarby, who was active during Tunisia’s 2011 revolution, and photographer Natheer Al-Qattawi were arrested for the first time on 3 September in eastern Libya and released days later.

The two were arrested again by an armed group and disappeared on 8 September.

The Tunisian Foreign Ministry said in a statement that an official delegation will visit Libya in the coming days to continue contacts with various Libyan parties.
