Thousands of Arabs protest Israeli killing of Palestinians

Thousands of Palestinians demonstrated yesterday night in the Negev city of Rahat, south of Israel, against the killing of two Arab residents by the Israeli police, the Anadolu Agency reported.

Eyewitnesses told the Anadolu Agency that the protesters took to the streets at night holding torches to protest the killing of the two Arab residents at the hands of Israeli police last week.They added that there was a heavy Israeli police presence during the protest.

The protesters chanted anti-Israeli slogans and blamed the Israeli authorities for committing crimes against them.

In the recent months, tension between Palestinians and Israelis has increased because of the repeated Israeli desecration to Al-Aqsa Mosque.
