Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu yesterday pledged to exert all efforts to undermine Iran’s nuclear weapons ambitions, Falesteen newspaper reported.

In a cabinet meeting, Netanyahu said: “As prime minister of Israel, I am obligated to make every effort in order to prevent Iran from achieving nuclear weapons that would be aimed at Israel.”

“This effort is worldwide and I will go anywhere I am invited in order to enunciate the State of Israel’s position and in order to defend its future and its existence,” he added defending his decision to speak in front of the US Congress on March 3.

Netanyahu repeated his pledgees in a meeting of the Likud party members, according to Israeli newspaper the Jerusalem Post.
