Sabahi blames Sisi for death of football fans

Former presidential candidate Hamdeen Sabahi blamed Egyptian President Abdel Fatah Al-Sisi for the death of the football fans in Cairo on Sunday, Al-Mesryoon reported yesterday.

In remarks on mass media, Sabahi accused the Egyptian government of being unable to protect its people and said that the current authorities do not intend to take a “serious” position towards achieving the goals of the revolution.

He called on Al-Sisi to stop these massacres and stop the “bloodshed of the youth” and for a state that “achieves the goals of the revolution: justice, dignity, social equality, war on corruption, halt of bloodshed, war on terror, national independence and respect of human rights.”
